Last Day of School

Last Day of School
We got a great idea from our family fun magazine so the night before Joey's last day of Kindergarten we let the kids decorate the van for the big celebration of the last day of school.

Keep in touch

Joey was pretty sad towards the end of the school year because some of his friends from K+ will be at different elementary schools next year so he won't see them so we decided to make these post cards to give to his friends.

Joey did a great job posing for the photo...he is my little actor :) On the back we wrote a note to keep in touch with our phone number!

Best of Friends
Ella and Flannery
Flannery came over on Monday night...it is so cute how well our daughters play together. For anyone who doesn't know Ella's middle name is Jess, after Flannery's mom Jessica so it is so neat to see how well they play together. They make an really big mess but it is well worth it!

Singing in the Shower
Ella discovered she loves the shower and on top of that loves taking very long showers singing the entire time. I captured this one the other day (face shot only to keep it clean). Pay attention to the 4th rendition of the ABC's when she uses different voices throughout the song. This girl really keeps me laughing.

Look no Training Wheels
We missed the first time Joey rode a bike without training wheels...last month Joey was at Conner's house playing when Mike went over to check on things, Conner's parents said "did you know he could ride a bike with no training wheels" pointing at Joey who was riding Conner's bike...so the next night off came the training wheels on his bike. Since his bike is a little taller it took him a few tries but within one day he was riding like a pro.

Consequences

In the last couple months our sweet little Ella hasn't been listening to her teachers or parents very well and although some will say not to use a child's blankie as an option in punishment....it seemed to be the only thing that worked. So one night, Ella wasn't listening to dad so after he warned her about her behavior and the consequence, he got it on video so he could have her refer to their discussion about consequences. This one we may play at her high school graduation party!

My Little Pack Rat

My Little Pack Rat
Some days I wonder what Ella will be like when she is older...a starving artist living in a tiny New York apartment that is filled from one end to the next with little trinkets she has collected. This is just one example of how Ella gets ready to go...she first puts on a very colorful and unique outfit (usually wanting to look like a "colorful rainbow"), then she finds accessories to go along with her outfit....and to top it all off she packs some things up. Today we were heading to Flannery's birthday party and this is what Ellla "needed" to bring with her. On the way to Flannery's the kids really got into their new song Allergies, which has been a big hit since we got both Joey and Ella allergy tested. Enjoy my reality!
